Some of the hardest tree jobs aren’t difficult because of the tree — they’re difficult because of where the tree is located.

That’s where our 25-metre Palazzani TSJ25 Spider Lift comes into its own.

As a large crawler-mounted tower, the TSJ25 combines impressive working height and reach with the ability to access areas that conventional truck-mounted towers simply can’t. Unlike a truck-mounted EWP, the TSJ25 travels on crawler tracks, allowing it to negotiate tight access and challenging terrain including steep and sloping ground, hills, terraces, steps and difficult backyards.

This makes it particularly valuable for trees located behind homes, on slopes, down embankments, around retaining walls or in other restricted-access areas.

Once the machine reaches the work area, its independently positioned stabilising outriggers can be configured to suit the available space and ground conditions. This allows the machine to be stabilised and levelled even where the surrounding terrain isn’t perfectly flat, providing our arborists with a secure elevated work platform and excellent access throughout the canopy.

For East Gippsland properties, where steep terrain, established gardens, retaining walls, stairs and restricted access are common, this versatility can make a significant difference. The ability to position the machine closer to the tree can make difficult jobs safer and more efficient, while reducing the need for larger machinery to travel extensively through the property.

Our 3.5-tonne CAT excavator adds another level of capability and versatility to the East Gippsland Tree Works fleet.

Having our own excavator means we can take on more of the work ourselves, reducing our reliance on outside contractors and allowing us to manage projects more efficiently from start to finish.

For tree work, the excavator can be fitted with our rotating Intermercato grapple, giving us the ability to grab, rotate, position and handle logs, branches and timber with greater control. This makes tree removals, timber processing, site preparation and clean-up safer and more efficient.

With a range of buckets, rakes and other attachments, the excavator can also be quickly set up for general excavation, vegetation work, property maintenance, site clean-ups and other jobs where additional machinery and capability are required.

Combined with our trucks, chipper, stump grinder, 25m Palazzani TSJ25 Spider Lift and experienced crew, our excavator gives us the equipment and flexibility to manage larger and more complex projects efficiently, from beginning to end.
